Description: Our “Sambar Masala” is a mixture of flavourful spices that gives your favourite recipes a rich, savoury flavour. It’s ideal for making traditional South Indian sambar at home because it’s made with the best ingredients. It can be served with Idly, Dosa, Vada, and Rice.
Ingredients:
Leevi Organics Sambar Masala is made with roasted spices like cumin seeds, coriander seeds, mustard seeds, black pepper, dry ginger, garlic, dry red chilies, fenugreek seeds, chana dal, curry leaves, tor dal, moong dal, urad dal, turmeric powder, asafetida, and cinnamon.
How to prepare:
1. Pressure cook the dal with ½ tbsp each of salt and turmeric powder. Once cooked, add the choice of your vegetables with a cup of water and boil again.
2. Now add 1 tbsp of Red chili powder, 3 tbsp of Leevi Organics sambar masala, tamarind juice and salt. Stir it well and cook for 5 minutes.
3. For Tadka, heat oil in a pan and add ½ tbsp of cumin seeds, curry leaves, mustard seeds, Hing and dry red chilies. Fry for a few seconds and gently pour in the cooked sambar.
4. Stir well and your sambar is ready to serve.
